My 3yo is starting to learn her letters so that’s why I bought this book.For each letter there are 4 pages. The first page is a huge outline of a letter (which my kid is trying to make the shape and stay kinda close to the lines) then the second page is a picture of an animal that starts with the same letter. Then the third and fourth pages have that “elementary school paper†format and there’s lots of rows with the models of the upper and lowercase letter shapes for tracing and then space for practicing the letters.I like this coloring and letter shapes book because the pictures of the animals are cute!Some animals may be a little “too cute†as when we turned the page to Z my daughter started laughing and saying “it’s a bubble zebra!!!!†sinc, yeah, it’s not a very realistic looking zebra.Also, there’s no “background†so at dinner tonight we got to talk about where the animals live and I got to draw backdrop.There was only one review when I purchased this - so I was a little nervous. But yeah. Don’t worry. It’s a fine quality coloring and alphabet activity book.
This book has a pretty easy to follow structure with the single letter, a picture of an animal that starts with that letter, then space to practice writing the individual letter. My daughter is 4 and can do the larger letter tracing pretty well and nearly has the lined tracing pages down. It keeps her attention for probably 20-30 minutes at a time so I would call it a great purchase. Her younger sister (2) hijacks the book and colors on the animal pages so its been great for both of them!
Very cute book. Unfortunately, my child's name starts with Z, so when I flipped to the back of the book, this is the typo (how to draw H) what greeted me.

I purchased this for my Early Headstart Son and it’s what he needs to prepare for Kindergarten, though I need the ones that’s easy like the “trace the line from point A to B†since he just started to hold a pencil but I’m keeping this bec this will be the next book he needs
